Columbia Kreitchman PET Center Radiopharmacy

Located within the Milstein Hospital Building on the NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center campus, the Kreitchman PET Center's radiopharmacy produces the clinical PET biomarkers used in our PET scans.

Most PET centers must have their pharmaceuticals delivered by a supplier, and as a result are restricted in the range of PET imaging procedures they can offer their patients. Having our own radiopharmacy enables us to provide a full range of PET biomarkers approved for clinical use. Our pharmacy also works with Columbia's robust PET research facility, investigating PET's value for management of disease treatment and developing new applications of the technology.

Columbia is actively working with researchers and traditional pharma companies to expand the list of PET biomarkers that can be used in the clinical setting and for research purposes.
